4 Islands Tour Introduction
Thailand has a thousand amazing islands to explore, and taking an island hopping boat tour is a convenient way to see as much as possible during your trip.
On this 4 islands tour, you can sit back, relax, and soak up the views of picturesque white sand beaches all while enjoying stress free hotel pick-up and lunch that’s all included.
So, let’s cover all the beautiful beaches you will see on the 4 Islands Tour.
#1 Thale Waek Island
The first stop on the tour is Thale Waek Island. It’s a group of three islands connected by a thin strip of beach. During low tide you can walk across the narrow beach to the other islands. During high tide or rainy season you may not be able to cross over.
Nonetheless, Thale Waek offers crystal clear water and the views of the lush island hills. The views are amazing in every direction and this place is a breathtaking way to start the tour.

#2 Chicken Island
Stop number two is Koh Gai also known as Chicken Island. This island is perfectly named because its prominent rock formation is shaped like a chicken head. You will sail close enough to take some pictures of the island. Then, it’s time for some snorkeling. You can swim around and see fish with great views of Chicken Island in the background.
The currents are quite strong near Chicken Island so it is wise to stay close to the boat and close to the rope while you are enjoying seeing all the beautiful fish.
#3 Poda Island
Stop number three is Poda Island. This one was our favorite because of the unique and beautiful rock in the middle of the beachfront and the multiple shade of blue water that expand from the beach. This beach is nice for swimming. The other islands were harder to swim on because of strong currents. On Poda island, the currents were much more manageable.
Soak up the view as you enjoy a nice box lunch included as a part of the tour.
#4 Railey Beach
Our final stop was not really an island. Railey Beach is technically a part of mainland Thailand, but because of the limestone mountains that surround it, it is only accessible by boat. We walked past the caves to see the beautiful Phra Nang Cave Beach. This beach combines the mystic of caves, stalagmites, hilly island views, and beautiful blue water all in one spot. It’s a unique and beautiful place that you don’t want to miss.
