Taiwan is on our travel bucket list because this island is a perfect mix of a bustling metropolis filled with intriguing cultural traditions, and beautiful scenic landscapes worth exploring.
Taipei
We look forward to taking in the city life in Taipei, enjoying the great views from skyscrapers like Taipei 101 and eating delicious foods at the numerous night markets like Shilin Night market.
Beautiful Landscapes
We also long to explore the Taiwanese national parks and hot springs, many of which are not far from the capital.
There are also several beaches to choose from including Fulong Beach and the unique green-covered reefs at Laomei.
We also long to bike around the beautiful Sun Moon Lake and take in the mountain views.
Cultural Experiences
We are intrigued by the Taiwanese culture and look forward to learning more about it at Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village in Yuchi.
We would also love to explore Jiufen where they sell wish lanterns. Write your wish on their lantern and set it sailing in the air so your wish will come true. I find this such a beautiful and charming custom, and I want to experience it for myself.
